What you will do
- Conduct legal research and monitor updates in U.S. immigration laws and policies.
- Provide legal support for complex cases, risk management, and policy interpretation.
- Audit court filings and ensure legal consistency and quality control across the organization.
- Draft and review legal documents, internal firm policies, and training materials.
- Partner with Operations to improve processes and strengthen legal strategy.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for internal teams.
Requirements
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and current bar membership in good standing.
- 5+ years of experience as an immigration attorney.
- 3+ years of removal defense experience, including representing clients in Master and Individual Calendar Hearings.
- Strong command of U.S. immigration law and federal regulations.
- Excellent analytical, legal writing, and research skills.
- Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm local time.
Nice to have
- Experience with VAWA, T visas, U visas, family-based petitions, and appeals before USCIS.
- Fluency in Spanish.
