What you will do

• Translate product requirements and UI/UX designs into performant browser-extension features across various execution contexts.
• Implement security-sensitive logic for threat detection and policy enforcement with minimal overhead on page load.
• Produce highly readable, modular TypeScript code and elevate team standards through rigorous code reviews.
• Debug complex issues across background scripts, content scripts, popups, and extension pages.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and QA to ship features end-to-end.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience focusing on production frontend applications in TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience developing browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, and/or Safari, including knowledge of MV2/MV3 and permission models.
• Strong command of core JavaScript (ES6+), async/await, closures, and TypeScript types.
• Experience with at least one modern reactive UI library such as React, Vue, or Svelte.
• Proficiency with HTML5 and CSS3 for building responsive, component-based interfaces.
• Proven history of integrating AI tools to enhance daily workflows and problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Experience publishing extensions to major browser stores or reconciling API differences across Chromium, Gecko, and WebKit.
• Familiarity with modern build tooling such as Vite, esbuild, Rollup, or Webpack.
• Understanding of web security risks (XSS, CSRF, content isolation) and safe coding practices.
• Exposure to Node.js for tooling, scripting, or API integration.
