What you will do

• Design and implement the browser protection suite for Google Chrome and Edge.
• Utilize Chromium knowledge to develop cybersecurity capabilities within the browser.
• Own feature development from initial design through to final delivery.
• Influence the product roadmap and architectural design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple physical locations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer-reported product issues responsively.

Requirements

• 7+ years of industry experience building high-performance software products.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
• Expertise in at least two of: Node.js, React internals, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Chromium internals.
• Strong capabilities in research, debugging, and deep-diving into web APIs.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and secure data handling in extensions.
• Proficiency with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Selenium, or QUnit.

Nice to have

• Experience with browser extension, email client plugin, or file sync service development.
• Knowledge and experience with OS internals.
