Junior Frontend Engineer (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Junior Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript): Developing the hirify.global browser extension's autofill engine and proactive security features with an accent on browser extension APIs, security-focused UI, and AI integration. Focus on building ML-based webpage analysis tools and implementing GenAI-assisted workflows to accelerate development velocity.

Location: Hybrid in Paris, France (3 office days / week)

What you will do

• Develop browser extension components using content scripts, service workers, and Manifest V3 APIs.
• Enhance security features such as anti-phishing and explore data-loss prevention for AI tools.
• Integrate GenAI and custom-trained models for in-browser contextual analysis.
• Implement projects end-to-end, including writing clean code and automated tests using Jest and Vitest.
• Act as an AI Pioneer by integrating modern GenAI tools into the daily SDLC.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software development with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• 1+ years of experience with frameworks such as React, AngularJS, or VueJS.
• Experience working in a product development team using agile practices.
• Fluent in English as the working language for an international team.
• Must be based in Paris, France to comply with the hybrid office policy.
• Proven proficiency in AI-assisted engineering.

• Deep curiosity about DOM, browser extensions, and content scripts.
• Interest in integrating LLM/SLM within browser extensions.
