Salary: $230,000 – $280,000 (Open to Staff leveling at $280k–$330k)

What you will do

• Architect high-performance mobile clinical tools and secure messaging systems for patients and providers.
• Integrate Apple HealthKit and Google Health Connect to ingest and visualize real-time patient data.
• Manage mobile infrastructure using Expo and EAS to deliver cross-platform experiences and OTA updates.
• Implement robust offline-first data synchronization and local caching for unreliable network conditions.
• Integrate agentic AI capabilities directly into mobile interfaces to automate clinical operations.
• Establish architectural patterns for strict code reuse between web and mobile clients.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of frontend engineering experience with a deep specialization in React Native and Expo.
• Proven track record of shipping complex, data-heavy mobile applications in production.
• Deep expertise in EAS builds, native module integration, and App Store/Google Play guidelines.
• Mastery of the React render cycle on mobile, UI thread optimization, and asynchronous data fetching.
• Must be based in or excited to work in-person 5 days a week in the San Francisco office.
• Experience utilizing frontier agentic AI tools to accelerate development workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Demonstrated track record of setting technical direction across teams (for Staff level).
