What you will do

• Ensure water treatment, storage, and distribution activities comply with EPA, local, and state standards.
• Recruit, train, and supervise water treatment plant operators and field maintenance crews.
• Direct daily operations of water plants, wells, pumping stations, and distribution lines.
• Lead teams during water supply disruptions, line breaks, or contamination events.
• Perform management-related duties as required.

Requirements

• Must be licensed as Maryland (MD) Water Treatment (class T) with Distribution (class D).
• License must be at least Class T3 Water Treatment Superintendent or T4.
• At least 3 years of management experience as a Class T3 Water Treatment Superintendent in Maryland.
• Thorough experience with Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) reporting and operations.
• Fluent English proficiency (C1).
• Ability to pass a government background check.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree.
• Class D1 Distribution System License.
