What you will do

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to calculate requirements.
• Perform cutting, fabrication, and assembly of wood and wood-substitute materials.
• Build floor beams, sub-flooring, walls, partitions, and prefabricated roof trusses.
• Install insulation and complete built-in-place flat roofs.
• Instruct apprentices and helpers while ensuring a clean and organized work area.
• Perform daily Job Hazards Assessments and Pre Job Task Hazard Analysis.

Requirements

• Completion of the Carpenter Trade Certification from an accredited institute.
• Minimum of 5 years’ carpentry-related work experience on construction sites.
• Proficiency in operating all required hand and power tools.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
• Must undergo and pass drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment (safety sensitive position).
