What you will do

• Lead the design, deployment, and evolution of Security Operations technology with a strong focus on cloud automation.
• Drive roadmap decisions for detection and response capabilities and serve as the Engineering lead for the Incident Response Team.
• Develop a gap analysis program to identify and operationalize new event sources into the SIEM platform.
• Deploy and maintain DLP technology across the enterprise.
• Identify and implement security posture improvements through system tuning and automation.
• Deliver Security Operations KPIs and create technical process documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud and/or infrastructure security within high-quality production environments.
• Deep understanding of security controls for modern architecture, specifically AWS, Azure, and M365 services.
• Comprehensive experience with SIEM, EDR, SEG, Proxy, vulnerability management, and data loss prevention (DLP).
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Thorough knowledge of information security standards and policies applicable to the financial industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience working in publicly traded financial or insurance organizations.
• Azure Security Engineer or AWS Security Specialty certification.
• SANS Certifications with a cloud-security focus.
