Salary: $141,000 – $249,000 USD (plus equity and performance bonus).

What you will do

• Lead technical and architecture discussions while collaborating with researchers and engineers.
• Mentor software engineers through code reviews, technical design, and best practice sharing.
• Build and maintain interactive web tools for simulation, data labeling, and dataset curation.
• Develop and improve a suite of services using an AI-first approach.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to enable safe self-driving at scale.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada or the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience in production-quality software development.
• Proficiency in modern web technologies such as TypeScript and React.
• Experience with backend languages like Go, Python, Rust, or C++.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D visualization (WebGL) and real-time interactive systems.
• Background in ML, robotics, or self-driving research.
• Experience with containerization, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Previous experience or passion for UX/design.
