Salary: $190,000–$215,000

What you will do

• Design and analyze compressor modules using industry-leading analytical tools such as CAD, ANSYS, and CFD.
• Lead engine system and component test programs, defining objectives, instrumentation, and validation plans.
• Serve as the component design subject matter expert within a multidisciplinary system design team.
• Coordinate with experts in performance, controls, stress, materials, and additive manufacturing.
• Research and develop technologies to improve product design through the exploitation of additive manufacturing.
• Work with suppliers to procure hardware and resolve producibility and quality issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 12+ years of experience in gas turbine component design.
• Strong proficiency with design software tools (CAD, ANSYS, CFD) and GD&T.
• Experience with aviation compressors and design for additive manufacturing principles.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
