What you will do

• Prepare and review design plans, calculations, and technical reports for roadway and multimodal projects.
• Apply engineering standards and codes to ensure accuracy and compliance in design work.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and reviewing agencies.
• Perform design analyses, cost estimates, and quantity takeoffs for project components.
• Assist in quality assurance reviews and respond to design review comments or field questions.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5-10+ years of transportation engineering experience with TxDOT projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency in Microstation ORD, AutoCad, and Civil3D software.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid capacity in Houston, Texas.
