Salary: $175,000 – $200,000

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, highly concurrent backend services in Go.
• Architect distributed systems that support high throughput and real-time operations.
• Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and resilience.
• Partner with frontend, platform, autonomy, and embedded teams to integrate services.
• Enforce secure development practices and maintain high standards for code quality.
• Set engineering standards, conduct code reviews, and guide architectural decisions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in backend or distributed systems engineering.
• Strong expertise in Go and building highly concurrent systems.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Strong API design and system architecture skills.
• Deep understanding of performance optimization and data structures.

Nice to have

• Experience with IoT, robotics, or autonomous systems.
• Strong networking fundamentals and debugging experience.
• Experience with AWS or cloud-based infrastructure.
• Familiarity with embedded systems or hardware integration.
• Active or prior security clearance.
