What you will do
- Design and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
- Manage fleets of EC2 instances using Puppet for configuration management.
- Develop and maintain Python-based automation tools for platform operations.
- Operate and scale observability pipelines using Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
- Optimize multi-tier caching strategies including Varnish and Redis.
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations to ensure platform reliability.
Requirements
- Must be based in Hungary.
- Strong production experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, etc.).
- Proficiency in Terraform and configuration management tools like Puppet.
- Solid Python programming skills for production automation.
- Deep knowledge of Linux systems (Ubuntu) and networking fundamentals.
- Understanding of distributed systems concepts and observability practices.
Nice to have
- Experience with distributed storage systems like Ceph or EFS.
- Familiarity with etcd or similar key-value stores.
- Knowledge of Varnish and VCL configurations.
- Background in multi-tenant SaaS platform design.
- Experience with Moodle LMS or similar edtech platforms.
