What you will do

• Lead and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary engineering team delivering complex Land capability programs.
• Define and execute the engineering strategy aligned with customer requirements and long-term business outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership across systems engineering, architecture, integration, verification, validation, and deployment.
• Oversee engineering planning, resource management, governance, risk, and technical assurance.
• Lead engagement with senior Defence customers, government stakeholders, and industry partners.
• Oversee Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL) operations to ensure compliance with Defence standards.

Requirements

• Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain NV1 security clearance and access ITAR-controlled information.
• 15+ years of experience delivering complex Defence or software-intensive systems.
• At least 5 years of experience in an engineering leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of Systems Engineering principles and their application within an ASDEFCON environment.
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as Engineers Australia CPEng or INCOSE (ASEP/CSEP/ESEP).
