What you will do

• Lead and coach a team of 3-6 engineers building native Android features inside a React Native app.
• Solve technical challenges regarding native modules, lifecycle, memory management, and performance.
• Partner with product, design, and platform teams to shape the mobile roadmap and align cycle goals.
• Champion performance and stability across the stack, including startup time, jank, and crash rates.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of large, cross-team initiatives from ideation to completion.

Requirements

• Experience leading or mentoring engineers with a genuine interest in career growth.
• Deep hands-on experience building and shipping Android apps in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience shipping React Native apps and deep understanding of the native-to-React Native bridge.
• Strong knowledge of Android internals, including app lifecycle, threading, and concurrency.
• Solid foundation in CS fundamentals, data structures, and design patterns.
• Ability to communicate clearly across product, design, and engineering functions.
