Salary: $97,600 - $139,000 USD (US candidates) / $116,965 - $142,783 CAD (Canada candidates)

What you will do

• Build and maintain core infrastructure for hirify.global's ML platform, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Improve distributed systems serving Large Recommendation Models (LRM) and Large Language Models (LLM).
• Optimize GPU model serving to improve latency, throughput, and cost.
• Develop tooling to increase ML developer velocity and modernize the ML ecosystem.
• Modernize the feature store to accelerate the production deployment of new features.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to resolve production issues.

Requirements

• 2025 or 2026 graduate with a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Must be based in Canada or the United States.
• Availability for coordination hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-3pm Pacific Time.
• Knowledge of Python, Go, or C++.
• Genuine interest in large-scale distributed systems and machine learning.

Nice to have

• Previous software engineering experience via internships, open-source, or competitions.
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, or AWS.
• Experience with low-level performance work, profiling, or benchmarking.
