Salary: $140,000 - $260,000

What you will do

• Develop mission planning, multi-platform coordination, and onboard decision-making algorithms.
• Design and implement path and motion planning algorithms for single- and multi-agent systems.
• Develop optimization and decision-making approaches for operation under uncertainty.
• Integrate algorithms with the broader onboard software stack.
• Validate system behaviors through simulation and field testing.
• Collaborate with perception, navigation, and integration teams to field robust multi-agent systems.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Experience with path/motion planning algorithms.
• Experience with multi-agent or distributed coordination algorithms.
• Experience with optimization and decision-making under uncertainty.
• Experience with ROS 2.
• Must be based onsite in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience fielding multi-agent systems on real hardware.
• Background in subscale aircraft, robotics, or autonomy applications.
• Experience with simulation environments for multi-agent testing.
