What you will do

• Review research protocols for study objectives, design, sample size, and data collection plans.
• Evaluate manuscripts and abstracts for statistical correctness and validity of conclusions.
• Ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards for human subjects research.
• Verify internal consistency of reported results across various scientific documents.
• Coordinate scientific clearances and ensure adherence to CDC data management and transparency policies.
• Prepare monthly status and final summary reports.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in epidemiological review or support.
• Expertise in the design and implementation of HIV and tuberculosis-related science.
• Proven experience in protocol and manuscript development and scientific reviews.
• Must be eligible to pass a NACI investigation and fingerprinting for CDC access.
• Strong writing, editing, and critical thinking skills.
