What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of lighting artists to foster creativity and professional growth.
• Define and implement lighting schemes aligned with the project’s visual direction.
• Create and oversee lighting for scenes, levels, and cinematics.
• Establish lighting standards, quality targets, and efficient workflows.
• Collaborate with VFX, level design, and technical teams to ensure performance optimization.
• Provide daily feedback and technical guidance to maintain high visual quality.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada
• 7+ years of experience in console or PC game development
• 5+ years of experience working with Unreal Engine
• Proven experience in a leadership or team management role
• Strong portfolio demonstrating AAA-quality lighting work
• Advanced knowledge of physically based rendering and real-time lighting techniques
