Counselor (CADC)

Salary: $25.00–$28.00 per hour + bonus structure

What you will do

• Conduct regular alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions, including required group sessions.
• Perform intake/readmission services and provide supportive follow-up counseling.
• Collect and assess social, educational, economic, and vocational information to build and revise treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and complete inter-agency documentation as needed.
• Make appropriate referrals and coordinate care with community providers.
• Maintain comprehensive records and ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and accrediting agency requirements.

Requirements

• CADC-I or CADC licensure/certification (as required for the role).
• Human services-related degree (Master’s or Bachelor’s) and current counseling credentials per state requirements.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with sound judgment.
• Ability to react quickly, make effective decisions, and seek direction from supervisors when necessary.
• Knowledge of substance abuse population and treatment planning, plus understanding of human behavior for rehabilitation work.
• Compliance with federal and state regulations regarding certification, licensure, and degree.
