What you will do

• Architect the ingestion, enrichment, and semantic layers for a centralized security data lakehouse.
• Scale data onboarding to handle 300+ high-velocity security feeds, migrating from legacy Splunk systems.
• Design and deploy robust data observability and reliability frameworks from scratch to ensure telemetry fidelity.
• Serve as a technical anchor and mentor for the Data Logistics team, instilling modern coding and automation practices.
• Structure and model complex security data to enable advanced analytics, data science, and AI-driven security platforms.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in enterprise data engineering combined with a strong understanding of cybersecurity operations (EDR, network logs, threat intel).
• Hands-on experience building cloud-native data lakehouses using Databricks, Snowflake, or native GCP/AWS stacks.
• High proficiency in Python, SQL, Scala, or Go.
• Experience with distributed data processing and orchestration tools such as Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, and dbt.
• Proven track record of implementing data observability, automated quality checks, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Dublin, Ireland office for at least 50% of the time.
