What you will do

• Oversee the full security response process from triage to remediation for high-profile externally reported vulnerabilities.
• Reproduce vulnerabilities, assess lateral impact, and develop proof-of-concept exploits.
• Design and build AI agentic workflows and multi-step reasoning agents for autonomous scanning and automated patch generation.
• Utilize security discovery tools such as Blackduck, Burp, Nessus, and Coverity.
• Assess OSS vulnerabilities from platforms like GHSA and Openwall for potential impact on VCF products.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, ranging from technical teams to executive leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 8+ years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one of C/C++ or Java.
• Experience with OSS vulnerability discovery platforms (e.g., vulnhub, GHSA, openwall).
• Must be based in or able to work from Cork, Ireland.
