What you will do

• Evaluate loan origination system (LOS) functionality to confirm regulatory requirements and business rules are accurately reflected.
• Interpret regulatory change summaries to determine expected system behavior, including rules, fields, and workflows.
• Design and execute both structured test scripts and custom tests to cover edge cases and complex scenarios.
• Perform exploratory testing to investigate unexpected results and adjacent system functionality.
• Document comprehensive testing evidence, including scenario descriptions, screenshots, and pass/fail conclusions for audit readiness.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Technology, and Operations teams to resolve defects and validate findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in QA/testing, compliance, or business analysis within mortgage or financial services.
• Must be based in the USA.
• Knowledge of the end-to-end mortgage loan origination process (application through funding).
• Experience with loan origination systems and tracking tools like Jira.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory guidance into technical test conditions.
