What you will do

• Collaborate with frontend engineers and product to design and deliver scalable APIs and services for the customer-facing Dashboard.
• Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable backend code in TypeScript using NestJS and modern backend tooling.
• Design and evolve data models and integrations backed by MongoDB.
• Integrate and maintain third-party services such as Stripe for billing and payments.
• Implement and maintain automated tests to ensure code quality and participate in code reviews.
• Continuously improve and optimize the existing codebase and stay current with backend best practices.

Requirements

• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with strong ability to design and build robust backend services (APIs, data layers, integrations).
• Experience owning services in production and designing systems at scale.
• Strong understanding of API design and data modeling principles.
• Experience with the NestJS framework and MongoDB.
• Ability to communicate and solve problems effectively.
• Hybrid work in Brno, South Moravian Region, Czechia.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP.
• Experience integrating payment providers or paywalls (e.g., Stripe).
• Experience with blockchain technology.
