What you will do

• Deliver GCBR selection rounds, managing applications and coordinating international reviewers.
• Coordinate the GCBR Forum, shaping agendas, preparing papers, and capturing key decisions.
• Lead working groups to address shared challenges and define key elements of infrastructure sustainability.
• Organize workshops and webinars bringing together funders, biodata resources, and stakeholders.
• Develop and evaluate pilot projects that test new approaches to sustainability.
• Produce reports, briefings, and papers for the GBC Board and senior leadership.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing and delivering a diverse range of projects in a professional setting.
• Experience in academia or life sciences within research, funding, or policy roles.
• A formal project management qualification.
• Proven experience working with international organizations and sensitivity to cultural differences.
• Very strong English verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a hybrid, geographically-distributed team.
