Location: Must be based in El Segundo, California

Salary: $180,000 - $220,000

What you will do

• Design and own enterprise cloud architecture across AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and hybrid environments.
• Develop architecture documentation including solution designs, network diagrams, and ATO supporting artifacts.
• Define and enforce cloud security standards including Zero Trust, IAM, and encryption patterns.
• Lead cloud migration planning and execution for on-premise workloads.
• Architect secure, high-availability network topologies including VPC/VNET design and private connectivity.
• Collaborate with ISSM/ISSO teams to maintain Cloud Security Plans and continuous monitoring strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 8–12 years of experience in cloud architecture or infrastructure engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience designing cloud solutions for DoD, IC, or federal government programs.
• Active Secret clearance required at time of hire.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tooling like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Working knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST RMF, and CMMC security requirements.

Nice to have

• TS/SCI eligibility.
• Experience designing Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) or multi-level security architectures.
• Knowledge of container orchestration like Kubernetes, EKS, or AKS.
• Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
