What you will do

• Perform quality assurance reviews for internal control elements including EDD, CDD, and transaction monitoring.
• Identify potential deficiencies and suggest mitigation strategies for risk-increasing factors.
• Prepare detailed quality assurance reports and follow up on remediation activities.
• Provide expert advice on AML/CTF laws and regulations to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other teams to implement and improve AML processes and procedures.
• Utilize data and AI tools to identify patterns and refine quality controls.

Requirements

• Around 4 years of experience in AML/KYC within a financial institution.
• Hands-on experience in EDD or CDD processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Must be based in or able to work from Riga, Latvia.
