AWS DevOps Engineer (Dublin)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid work with four office days per week

Work with hirify.global on technology platforms supporting a leading global reinsurance service provider.

What you will do

• Automate development processes and streamline CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Support platform consolidation and system hardening across multiple systems.
• Manage and optimize AWS serverless infrastructure.
• Monitor application performance using Datadog, Vault, and similar tools.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and integrate new technologies into the platform.
• Maintain secure coding practices and system compliance.

Requirements

• Experience with AWS CDK and AWS serverless infrastructure.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, application performance analysis, and networking at TCP/IP Layer 5 and above.
• Strong troubleshooting, written and verbal communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, adapt working styles, and balance multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to evaluate technical and process-related options and identify effective solutions.
• Ability to work from the Dublin office four days per week.

Nice to have

• JavaScript, SQL, or JupyterLab experience.
