AWS DevOps Engineer (Dublin)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid work with four days per week in the office

What you will do

• Automate development processes and streamline CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Support platform consolidation and system hardening across multiple systems in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Manage and optimize AWS serverless infrastructure, primarily using IAM and AWS CDK.
• Monitor application performance with Datadog or similar tools and manage Vault integrations.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and integrate new technologies into the engineering platform.
• Maintain secure coding practices and system compliance.

Requirements

• Experience with AWS CDK, AWS serverless technologies, Linux, and networking at TCP/IP Layer 5 and higher.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and application performance analysis.
• Strong troubleshooting, written and verbal communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and balance multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to evaluate technical and process-related options and select effective solutions.
• Ability to work from the Dublin office four days per week.

Nice to have

• JavaScript, SQL, or JupyterLab experience.
