TL;DR
Senior Security Specialist (AI) (Cybersecurity): Strengthening enterprise cybersecurity through vulnerability management, penetration testing, incident response, and security control hardening with an accent on cloud, network, web application, and infrastructure security. Focus on leading complex incident response, prioritizing bug bounty findings, translating technical risks into remediation actions, and applying AI-assisted automation to security operations.
Location: On-site in i-City, Shah Alam, Malaysia

What you will do
- Lead vulnerability assessments across networks, applications, cloud environments, and infrastructure, providing risk-based remediation guidance.
- Plan and execute penetration tests across network, web, cloud, and infrastructure layers and deliver prioritized reports.
- Strengthen security controls including firewall policies, network segmentation, endpoint hardening, and other defensive safeguards.
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts and incidents, including triage, containment, eradication, root cause analysis, and cross-functional escalation.
- Review and prioritize bug bounty submissions and collaborate with engineering teams on remediation.
- Embed security practices into development and operational workflows while using AI-assisted tools and automation for testing, triage, reporting, and threat analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, postgraduate diploma, professional qualification, or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Security, IT, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, web application penetration testing, and information security.
- Experience with Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, Qualys, Splunk, SIEM platforms, or similar security tools.
- Knowledge of network protocols, web application security, OWASP Top 10, vulnerability analysis, and threat detection methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with AWS security controls, IAM, networking, and Linux system administration.
- Strong analytical, communication, reporting, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills; willingness to work on-site is required.
Nice to have
- Security+, CEH, OSCP, eJPT, eWPT, GIAC, or similar certifications.
- Experience guiding teams, owning security projects, and influencing security outcomes across the organization.
