What you will do

• Receive, log, and store all preclinical laboratory samples from internal scientists and external collaborators.
• Manage and update sample inventory using Benchling (ELN & LIMS), including legacy sample data entry.
• Maintain precise study sample records through strict file management and document control.
• Coordinate the archiving of study-related samples to ensure long-term stability and traceability.
• Prepare necessary paperwork and submit samples to contract testing labs and off-site storage partners.
• Collaborate with shipping departments and internal teams to track shipment timelines and analysis schedules.

Requirements

• High School Diploma with minimum 2 years of relevant sample management experience in a CRO, biomedical institution, or pharmaceutical company, OR a Bachelor's degree in science or a related field.
• Familiarity with electronic information management systems such as LIMS or electronic lab notebooks.
• Proven organizational skills using Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet, or similar planning tools.
• Ability to function effectively as a team member in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to adhering to standard operating procedures.
