What you will do

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers regarding specimen submissions.
• Handle incoming calls and electronic inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Review and manage consent forms, medical hold forms, and laboratory documentation.
• Report laboratory results following established protocols and assist clients with test requirements.
• Coordinate client supply orders and medical kit shipments.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve customer concerns and ensure a seamless experience.

Requirements

• Knowledge of medical terminology for effective communication with patients and providers.
• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and de-escalate stressful situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be based in and work on-site in Gaithersburg, MD five days per week.

Nice to have

• 1-3 years of experience in clinical laboratories, physician offices, or healthcare billing.
• Bilingual proficiency.
