What you will do

• Design and build high-performance systems across storage, networking, and virtualization.
• Develop and optimize container runtimes and low-level system components.
• Implement and scale high-performance distributed systems.
• Conduct performance engineering to optimize system efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to production incidents.

Requirements

• Impressive technical track record with impact (3 to 20+ years of experience).
• Experience building high-performance distributed systems at scale.
• Strong low-level Linux foundations, including kernel, drivers, filesystems, containers, and PCIe.
• Production experience in Rust, C, or Go.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotations and handle production incidents.
• Must be based in North America.

Nice to have

• Experience with QEMU/KVM, eBPF, RDMA, or BIOS/UEFI internals.
