What you will do

• Explore and implement AI/ML applications including GenAI, RL, GNN, and CNN within VLSI design.
• Develop prototype solutions to evaluate state-of-the-art AI/ML techniques for ASIC design.
• Collaborate with academic research communities and internal architecture, IP, and SoC teams.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives for automotive processors and advanced microcontrollers.
• Prescribe key methods and requirements for tools to leverage AI/ML in ASIC design.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with a strong SW background.
• 7+ years of experience in AI/ML techniques (LLMs, CNN, RNN, and GraphNN) applied to real-world optimization.
• Hands-on expertise in Python and C++.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux and revision control systems like Git or BitBucket.
• Must be based in San Diego, CA.

Nice to have

• Strong understanding of design constraints (SDC), STA, and Low-power flows (UPF).
• Prior experience in VLSI CAD methodology and EDA tool development.
• Knowledge of HDL (System Verilog, Verilog, VHDL) and physical design flows.
• Experience with Jenkins, LSF, and CI/CD processes.
