What you will do

• Integrate vehicle interface definitions using schema and code generation into onboard C++ publishers/subscribers.
• Develop high-quality C++ code for message encoding/decoding, validation, rate enforcement, and error handling.
• Debug cross-boundary issues across network captures, deserialization, and internal channels.
• Improve tooling, documentation, and developer workflows to reduce integration friction for interface changes.
• Enhance verification readiness through unit tests and bench-level tests for message correctness and payload behavior.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, EE, Robotics, or related field with 2+ years of experience (or Master's/PhD).
• Strong proficiency in modern C++.
• Experience with modern C++ unit testing frameworks, preferably GTest/GMock.
• Comfort working in a large monorepo with Bazel.
• Fluency in Linux application development and Ethernet-based vehicle networking (UDP).
• Legal authorization to work in the US on a permanent basis is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with FreeRTOS or SafeRTOS.
• LwIP integration experience.
• Proficiency in Python.
