What you will do

• Coordinate daily shift activities and act as an escalation point for high-priority security alerts.
• Perform in-depth investigations into potential threats using SIEM, EDR, and NDR platforms.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews on incident tickets to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures.
• Mentor junior and mid-level analysts through coaching and hands-on guidance.
• Collaborate with technical teams to execute containment and remediation strategies.
• Contribute to the refinement of playbooks, detection content, and operational workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity analyst role, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior capacity.
• Must be based in the United States and able to work 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST/CST/PST.
• Proven hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, NDR, and DFIR toolsets.
• In-depth understanding of attacker TTPs and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Experience responding to incidents in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

• GIAC certifications (GSE, GCIH, GCIA).
• CISSP or AWS/Microsoft Security certifications.
• OSCP or CompTIA CySA+ credentials.
