Quality Lab Technician (3NL) - Dayshift (Manufacturing)

Base salary: $41,600–$52,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Perform routine and non-routine testing of incoming raw materials and finished products against established specifications and procedures.
• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory, analytical, mechanical, and electrical testing equipment.
• Conduct melt flow, FTIR, DSC, mechanical, Critical Shear, and other required testing.
• Record, review, and communicate test results, escalating deviations and out-of-specification findings.
• Collaborate with Production, Sourcing, and Quality teams to investigate material, product, and production quality issues.
• Support material evaluations, pilot-scale and production trials, product designs, process modifications, shipment testing, COAs, and BOLs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of experience in laboratory testing, analytical testing, manufacturing quality, or quality assurance is preferred.
• Strong laboratory skills, hand dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and precision-equipment proficiency.
• Ability to follow written test methods, specifications, procedures, and work instructions accurately.
• Basic mathematical and analytical skills, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to use Microsoft applications and learn manufacturing systems such as MES and Blue Yonder.
