Quality Lab Technician

What you will do

• Set up and operate mechanical and electrical testing apparatus to analyze raw materials and finished goods.
• Perform daily testing including melt flow, FTIR, DSC, and critical shear analysis.
• Record and communicate test data, identifying and reporting any deviations from established specifications.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure accurate documentation of all work performed.
• Interface with production and sourcing departments to resolve floor issues related to raw materials.
• Generate technical reports and assist with trials for new product designs or process modifications.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in New London, North Carolina.
• Strong laboratory skills with proficiency in precision equipment and mechanical aptitude.
• Mathematical ability and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with Microsoft platforms and ability to learn enterprise software like MES and Blue Yonder.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
