Location: Must be based in Herndon, VA (Onsite). Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI security clearance.

Salary: $116,000 – $169,400 annually.

What you will do

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and system management tools.
• Design and provision enterprise LAN/WAN network environments.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Implement DOD cybersecurity requirements across the infrastructure.
• Develop and deliver technical documentation for system operations.
• Collaborate with technical leads to optimize system specifications and development efficiency.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• 5+ years of experience in Linux-heavy systems engineering or administration.
• Proven experience supporting DevOps infrastructure and physical compute hardware.
• Experience in the build and sustainment of LAN/WAN networks.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to evaluate technical alternatives.

Nice to have

• Exposure to InfiniBand networks and configuration.
• Experience with Juniper Network and Security Platforms.
