What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of Android and iOS engineers while collaborating with Python backend developers, QA, and Product teams.
• Own the delivery of the product vision from technical strategy to day-to-day execution.
• Maintain a hands-on approach (approx. 40%) by reviewing code, challenging architecture, and setting technical standards.
• Make critical technical decisions to balance innovation, velocity, and technical debt.
• Drive the integration of AI opportunities to enhance user experience and product innovation.
• Scale the mobile engineering organization as the product grows.

Requirements

• Proven track record of building and scaling high-traffic B2C consumer apps with millions of users.
• Experience in startup or scale-up environments with fast iteration cycles and aggressive growth.
• Deep technical expertise in mobile architecture, performance, and trade-offs.
• Strong product and business mindset focused on user impact, retention, and engagement.
• Data-driven approach to leadership and decision-making.
• Fluent in English.

Nice to have

• Expertise in streaming video, media frameworks, and real-time content delivery.
• Experience with AI/ML integration in mobile applications.
• Knowledge of A/B testing frameworks and conversion optimization.
