What you will do

• Participate in discovery, prototyping, technical design, implementation, code review, testing, and deployment of learning experiences.
• Shape product requirements, write technical specifications, define interface contracts, slice the backlog, and deliver features with product and backend partners.
• Design and evolve the public API of a distributable Swift package and integrate it into hirify.global's main iOS app, including experiments and rollout.
• Build learning-path, exercise, speaking, and conversation features in collaboration with product managers, designers, subject-matter experts, and cross-platform engineers.
• Improve the technology stack, build system, testing practices, and AI-agent conventions used by the team.
• Document core features and share technical knowledge with colleagues and iOS engineers across hirify.global.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building scalable iOS applications with Swift.
• Strong Swift skills, including Swift 6 strict concurrency, actors, Sendable, isolation, and structured concurrency.
• Deep SwiftUI experience, Apple-platform knowledge, and understanding of Human Interface Guidelines.
• Experience with state-driven UI, unidirectional-data-flow architecture, modular boundaries, frameworks, SDKs, or distributable Swift packages.
• Strong testing practices, including deterministic unit tests, snapshot tests, controlled dependencies, and CI/CD discipline.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and availability to work from Berlin, Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience with The Composable Architecture and the Point-Free ecosystem.
• Experience with agentic coding tools, MCP servers, and project conventions such as CLAUDE.md.
• Experience with Tuist, Swift Testing, real-time audio or streaming features, or legacy RxSwift/MVVM-C codebases.
• Background in language learning, education technology, or consumer subscription products.
