What you will do

• Lead mechanical engineering evaluation for prospective sites, colocation capacity, and build-to-suit opportunities.
• Assess liquid cooling, air cooling, and hybrid strategies against site conditions and hyperscale AI load requirements.
• Perform technical due diligence on chiller plant strategies, CRAH/CRAC configurations, and equipment availability.
• Establish repeatable technical evaluation programs, design criteria, and readiness gates for infrastructure acquisition.
• Coordinate with Site Selection, Energy, Finance, and Delivery teams to align mechanical scope and minimize construction risk.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data center mechanical engineering, MEP design, or mission-critical mechanical systems.
• Deep expertise in cooling topology design, liquid cooling systems, and chiller plants for high-density AI environments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical capacity planning and capex trade-offs in data center design.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Must be authorized to work in the country in which you apply.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting hyperscale data center or AI infrastructure development.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or similar professional certification.
• Experience with BMS controls integration and mechanical systems commissioning.
