What you will do

• Lead technical discovery to understand business drivers, technical context, constraints, and success criteria.
• Run product demonstrations, workshops, and evaluations mapping dbt capabilities to real customer problems.
• Design pragmatic solution architectures spanning dbt, warehouses, orchestration, BI, and governance tooling.
• Partner with account teams on qualification, technical win criteria, risk assessment, and forecast accuracy.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for analytics engineers, data engineers, and technical decision-makers.
• Generate reusable demos, templates, and architecture patterns for adoption by other Solutions Architects.

Requirements

• Experience in pre-sales, solutions architecture, sales engineering, or a comparable customer-facing technical role.
• Strong understanding of dbt, analytics engineering, SQL, data transformation, and modern cloud data platforms.
• Ability to lead technical strategy in complex enterprise opportunities with multiple stakeholders.
• Evidence of mentoring peers or creating assets and practices that improve team effectiveness.
• Strong executive communication, technical storytelling, and written documentation skills.
• Must be based in the United Kingdom.
