What you will do

• Lead the IT organization and manage a distributed team of hirify.globalers and support analysts, with on-site coverage in Tempe and Chicago.
• Define and execute a fix-and-modernize plan to reduce technical debt across device lifecycle, endpoint security, internal tooling, and integrations.
• Own identity and automation end-to-end using Okta as the single source of truth for provisioning, onboarding/offboarding, and access reviews.
• Define, measure, and meet SLAs across Tier 1/2 support, device lifecycle, and access management.
• Partner with Security to harden identity and security posture (Okta, SSO, MFA, access reviews) without sacrificing scale.
• Set IT strategy and prioritize hirify.globalering investments to deliver the biggest business impact.

Requirements

• Experience leading IT teams in fast-moving, remote-first environments, including a fix-and-modernize phase.
• Deep hands-on experience with Okta (required), plus modern MDM (Intune, Jamf, Kandji, or similar), Google Workspace, and Atlassian suite.
• Ability to scope, sequence, and deliver complex cross-functional programs (e.g., IAM rollouts, tooling migrations) on time.
• Automation-first mindset with experience using Okta (or equivalent IDP) for provisioning and access workflows.
• Player-coach capability: strong background across Tier 1/2 support, device lifecycle management, identity, and endpoint security.
• Security fluency through collaboration on audits, access reviews, endpoint health, and incident response.

Nice to have

• Certifications related to the IT/identity stack (real experience weighted more than certifications).
• Interest in using AI to augment IT operations (intelligent alerting, automated resolution, improved employee experiences).
