What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and workflows for KYC and customer onboarding.
• Contribute to frontend development with React (about 30% of the role).
• Own complex technical and functional topics across discovery, specification, design, development, testing, documentation, deployment, and maintenance.
• Define and evolve scalable architectures using hexagonal architecture and clear domain boundaries.
• Lead technical initiatives end-to-end and drive continuous improvement in engineering practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, Compliance, Operations, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Fluency in written and spoken English (business language).
• At least 5 years of software development experience in product-focused environments.
• Strong TypeScript expertise, especially for backend development with Node.js.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, or infrastructure-as-code.
• Proven ability to design and deliver high-quality, scalable products.
• Strong architectural knowledge, including hexagonal architecture and maintainable system design.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, payments, fintech, or other regulated industries.
• Experience integrating with third-party providers via APIs, external services, and webhooks.
• Knowledge of compliance, identity verification, fraud prevention, or customer onboarding domains.
