What you will do
- Evaluate and improve UI implementation quality, consistency, and maintainability across the product.
- Design and build a reusable component library and common page templates for rapid development.
- Develop mechanisms to enforce UI standards programmatically and prevent visual drift.
- Build UI for AI-driven surfaces, including agentic workflows and dynamic, model-generated content.
- Develop tooling that enables UX designers to prototype and validate changes independently.
- Partner with designers to resolve tooling issues and expand autonomous building capabilities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of frontend development experience with a strong focus on Next.js and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience building or maintaining a design system in a production SaaS environment.
- Deep familiarity with shadcn/ui and Tailwind CSS, including governance at scale.
- Experience building UI for AI-powered products and agentic outputs.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code or Cursor.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Nice to have
- Strong opinions on UI architecture and ability to build consensus.
- Experience working across the design/engineering boundary.
