What you will do
- Build, maintain, and optimize scalable backend features using Ruby on Rails and front-end interfaces with TypeScript.
- Connect and manage integrations with major LLM providers like OpenAI and OpenRouter.
- Implement and manage multi-step, autonomous AI workflows.
- Combine retrieval mechanisms with generative models to improve information accuracy and relevance (RAG implementation).
- Craft and refine prompts to optimize AI responses and outputs.
- Customize pre-trained models and optimize LLM inference as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Proficiency with TypeScript.
- Experience building agentic flows and working with LLM APIs.
- Proficiency with SQL.
- Experience with modern frontend development.
- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks.
- Ability to evaluate various technical approaches to ensure optimal, high-quality results.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on proactive status reporting and ensuring alignment.
Nice to have
- Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus, pgvector).
