Location: This is a hybrid role based in Wroclaw, Poland. While hirify.global teams operate globally and embrace remote work, this position requires in-person collaboration in the Wroclaw office.

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and optimize scalable backend features using Ruby on Rails and front-end interfaces with TypeScript.
• Connect and manage integrations with major LLM providers like OpenAI and OpenRouter.
• Implement and manage multi-step, autonomous AI workflows.
• Combine retrieval mechanisms with generative models to improve information accuracy and relevance (RAG implementation).
• Craft and refine prompts to optimize AI responses and outputs.
• Customize pre-trained models and optimize LLM inference as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Proficiency with TypeScript.
• Experience building agentic flows and working with LLM APIs.
• Proficiency with SQL.
• Experience with modern frontend development.
• Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks.
• Ability to evaluate various technical approaches to ensure optimal, high-quality results.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on proactive status reporting and ensuring alignment.

Nice to have

• Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus, pgvector).
