What you will do

• Build and lead a high-performing Autonomy Hardware team while remaining hands-on with design and testing.
• Own the architecture of the autonomy compute platform and sensorset, including camera, radar, lidar, and IMU.
• Manage mechanical, electrical, and electronic integration, including power systems, schematics, and harness design.
• Drive the full design process from concept to industrialization, ensuring robustness for harsh environmental conditions.
• Collaborate with software teams and vehicle manufacturers to integrate hardware into various platforms.
• Partner with supply chain management for vendor engagement, sourcing, and delivery scheduling.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.
• 10+ years of hands-on hardware development experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Strong expertise in sensor technologies and embedded/edge compute platforms.
• Proven experience in hardware design processes, including CAD, simulation, and industrialization.
• Background in automotive, defense, or robotics with experience integrating hardware into vehicles.
