Working Student (m/f/d) - Electronics & Mechatronics Engineering

Location: Munich, Germany; hybrid work setup

Salary: €16–€22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

What you will do

• Support Industrial IoT project teams at the interface of electronics and mechanics.
• Build, assemble, and test hardware prototypes in the workshop.
• Work with sensors, actuators, motors, and other mechatronic components.
• Apply electronics skills including soldering, prototyping, and reading schematics.
• Contribute to practical engineering projects in small, agile teams.

Requirements

• Currently studying Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with electronics, including soldering, prototyping, and reading schematics.
• Interest in mechatronic systems and the integration of electronics with mechanics.
• Practical workshop mentality and motivation to build and test prototypes.
• Good command of English.

Nice to have

• Experience with PCB design tools such as KiCad or Altium.
• Basic programming experience in C or C++.
• Familiarity with microcontrollers such as STM32, ESP32, or Arduino.
• Knowledge of UART, SPI, or I2C communication protocols.
