Location: On-site in Gilching, Germany (Hybrid: 1 day remote per week allowed).

What you will do
- Engage in design decisions for new technical solutions from an embedded software perspective.
- Implement, maintain, and optimize software for autopilots, communication, and navigation systems.
- Integrate new sensors and cameras into existing hardware and software environments.
- Test and evaluate new integrations during field tests.
- Support the team with software-specific tasks including log evaluation and tool development.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Linux software development, preferably in embedded or robotics systems.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ (14 or newer).
- Understanding of Linux internals, including system services, device trees, and kernel modules.
- Experience with cross-compilation and build systems like Yocto or Buildroot.
- Hands-on experience with debugging tools such as GDB, strace, and perf.
- English proficiency required.
