Location: Hybrid in Munich or Berlin, Germany. This role involves frequent traveling to Barcelona or other client sites.

What you will do

• Translate complex business needs into robust conceptual, logical, and physical models, specifically using Data Vault 2.0.
• Design and implement scalable, auditable data products using Data Vault patterns.
• Ensure modeling consistency and alignment with enterprise standards across multiple data domains.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to clarify requirements and define model scope.
• Integrate data models with modern platforms using state-of-the-art toolchains including Git and CI/CD.
• Act as a subject matter expert, mentoring peers and guiding teams on advanced modeling use cases.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data modeling with a track record of delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
• Expertise in Dimensional and Data Vault modeling techniques.
• Strong understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling in modern ecosystems.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience integrating models into data pipelines and BI layers.
• Experience working in Agile environments with a DevOps toolchain (CI/CD, Git).
• Fluent in English.

Nice to have

• Data Vault 2.0 certification.
• Experience with dbt and Databricks.
• Knowledge of pull request workflows for data models.
