What you will do

• Lead the production of high-quality global, regional, and country-level displacement data and analysis.
• Develop and implement monitoring strategies and annual work plans for the Global Report on Internal Displacement (GRID).
• Mentor and manage a team of specialists, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and professional development.
• Coordinate with quality assurance advisers to ensure rigorous methodology standards and quality processes are met.
• Represent IDMC in technical forums and build strategic partnerships with governments, UN agencies, and NGOs.
• Contribute to the development of high-quality concept notes, proposals, and donor reports.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in data science, statistics, international development, or related humanitarian fields.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in data analysis and monitoring within humanitarian contexts.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Proven experience in supervising staff and coordinating multicultural teamwork.
• In-depth knowledge of displacement data and quantitative/qualitative monitoring methods.
• Ability to work within CET +- 3 hours time zone.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IDMC tools and standards.
• Proficiency in another official UN language, specifically Arabic, Spanish, or French.
